What's On The Table This Thanksgiving?
Well it's about that time of year again, fire up the oven and get my tofurky cooking. I'm feeling especially in touch with the spirit of giving this year, so I'd like to share a plateful of lovely sounds with all you beautiful people. Go ahead...Dig in. BRIGHT BLACK MORNING LIGHT (2006)
This is that knock-your-sock-off-amazing kind of Psychedelic Rock coming out of New Mexico. Joined with Matador Records, they share the label with notable artists Cat Power, The Cave Singers, God Help The Girl, Sonic Youth, and Boards of Canada.
ALICE RUSSELL - POT OF GOLD REMIXES (2009)
Soul/Funk inspired female vocalist Alice Russel has reworked her 2008 release Pot Of Gold with the help of producers DJ Vadim, Kidkanevil, Mr. Scruff, J-Boogie, Ohmega Watts, Shawn Lee, The Heavy, and a handful of others.
