Throwback album Sunday || Simple "Tied to Things"
Today I was sorting through a bunch of random CDs and putting some old albums on my new computer. This normally mundane task was made interesting by some great music that I totally forgot existed. Sandpeople are a hip hop crew from Portland Oregon and a serious juggernaut with the amount of music they produce. Simple is a Producer / Emcee who I consider to be one of the most original creators of the "abstract banger" and a large part of that crew for many years. His solo album "Tied to Things" was on heavy rotation when it was released in 2005 and is definitely a solid disc. Old music is new music if you have never heard it, so check it out.

What happened to Simple? I heard he was making some beats with the Buddhist monks high in the Himalayas trying to transcend time and bend space! That album is on of my favorites good call on bringing that out of the vault.
i'm everywhere at once thanks to the power of the internet.
